We are looking for a Web Content Editor to join a leading marketing agency in Birmingham and help to ensure outstanding quality is delivered to their clients’ global website time after time.
As Web Content Editor you will be responsible for monitoring the quality of the customer website experience, ensuring that the website copy and content is error free, up to date and providing accurate information at all times. You will also ensure that the website upholds the brands values at all times, and is compatible across desktop, mobile and tablet devices too.
You’ll spend your days taking briefs from account/project managers and liaise with marketing executives to define the requirements for the clients’ global website, and test accuracy of all live content on the website. As well as assisting in the forward planning of campaigns and troubleshooting any content that is not displaying correctly, you will also ensure that the web content assistants are producing quality work, flagging and escalating any issues that arise as appropriate.
To be considered you will need to be educated to a degree level and have a keen attention to detail coupled with excellent oral and written skills. You’ll also have a strong work ethic and be able to multi-task and prioritise your own workload as well as knowing your way around CMS and photoshop too. Any foreign language skills would be a distinct advantage, but aren’t essential.
