Trainee Recruitment Consultant - Birmingham area

As a trainee recruitment consultant you will:

  • Making outbound calls to candidates within your specialism
  • Proactively finding relevant candidates via resourcing from job boards, headhunting, linked in etc.
  • Using initiative, fact finding skills, instinct to match candidates to outstanding vacancies
  • Making a concious effort to understand exisiting client requirements and become knowledgeable of their organisations and markets 
  • Making outbound sales calls to businesses within your specialist field to bring new business on board 
  • Coordinating interviews, offers, rejections etc.

Your duties will be carried out along side training and support from your senior team. You will throw yourself into learning everything there is to know about being a recruiter. You'll work long hours, and do everything you can to develop yourself. You will see the end goal, and work toward the bigger picture. 

Basic salary- £20,000 starting basic + commission following probationary period. 

Essential requirements;

*Educated to Degree level, second class and above 
*Minimum of 3 A Levels at grade A-C
*Extra curricular activities including competitive sports, university societies, entrepreneurial achievements etc.
*An above and beyond attitude, with plenty of drive and ambition 
*Some sales experience, ideally B2B or corporate 
*Team focused
