We are working with a longstanding client looking to hire a Researcher/resource for their exec search team. The role is to work on senior appointments across Europe with huge international technical companies and support the exec search team. You will research specific companies, candidates and job types in various European companies in order to build up the team's local knowledge base and put together meaningful reports based on your findings.
You will be involved in the planning of shortlisting for exec search roles (in this case salaries between £60-150k) and identifying key people within the various roles your team are working on. The role will also mean extensive research and competitor analysis in order to arm your consultants with information useful in their work. You will be pivotal in the success of the team and in turn learn and work towards becoming a search consultant yourself in the next 12 months.
In terms of skills and attributes, our client is looking for detail-oriented people able to identify quickly what is useful information and what is not. You will also need to analyse data and put together meaningful reports for your team and, in time, talk to senior professionals to help build your knowledge.
You will be given excellent training and guidance and will be working alongside seasoned professionals with many years of experience. Your brand is strong in this area and you will be provided with all of the tools you will need to succeed. Ideally you will be graduate level educated with a strong interest in business and armed with excellent communication skills. An interest in business and/or HR would be useful but a desire to succeed is just as important.
