This privately-owned luxury hotel & restaurant company now seeks an experienced HR Director to head up a busy HR function, reporting at board level and helping to shape the company as it grows.
Managing an existing HRM, the role is an interesting mix of strategic (assisting with acquisitions, shaping HR policy and making recommendations to the board) and hands-on (recruitment and staff planning, engagement, retention, contracts, CSR, compliance/legislation).
The successful candidate will have a background in either the hotel/leisure/hospitality sectors or corporate/professional services. You must be robust and forthright, able to challenge and advise the directors in shaping the company for the future. A full driving licence is a prerequisite as there will be some travel between locations, and ideally full CIPD qualification.
