The recruitment agency is part of a well-established engineering and manufacturing company that has been established for around 35 years now – because of the connections the business holds – the recruitment side has been ever successful, building year on year since 2013. The team in the North of the UK holds over 50 years combined recruitment experience so are extremely knowledgeable, billing over £13million a year! Nearly all placements are contract, they are looking to mirror this in the Birmingham branch so consultants need to be experienced in working in a fast paced environment. The agency are specialists in white collar engineering; Aerospace, Automotive, Process Energy and General Engineering – so experience in any of those fields would be a major advantage!
About the Engineering/Technical Recruitment Consultant role
As an experienced Recruiter, you will have a good knowledge of working in the industry and what is going on in the West Midlands market – there are warm accounts for Consultants to work with, many of the clients held in the North have a base in the West Midlands. You will need to want to build your own desk and potentially a team around that desk, it will take hard work and dedication but there will be a lot of reward and support given.
The environment is mature, the team are able to get on with their work but still have a good time in the office! You will be working closely with the Regional Director to develop the team and establish the teams’ reputation in the West Midlands market.
To be considered for the role, you should hold the following;
- A good knowledge of the engineering industry
- Hold a minimum of 18 months’ experience in Engineering/Technical Recruitment
- Good natured and ambitious Recruitment Consultant
- Ability to conduct Business Development
- Eager to develop career
You will be working 08:30am – 18:00pm Monday to Friday and have the opportunity to earn flexible working hours too, allowing you to have a work life balance.
